This evening, the Festival continues with a performance by the Bliss Quintet, playing the wonderful Schubert Quintet in C Major, op. 163. This Quintet is a very difficult and equally beautiful work and it is the first time that it is being performed in our Festival.

The concert will start with one of Boccherini’s delightful Quintets, namely, the E Major op. 39 no. 3.  Bliss Quintet is comprised of Klara Nazaj and Giulia Tavano (violin), Ina Georgieva (viola), Frank Camilleri and Akos Kertez (violoncellos). They are all members of the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra.

An added attraction this evening is the fact that for the first time the Festival is hosting a concert at the Cittadella Centre for Culture and the Arts.  As usual, the concert starts at 8pm.
