BrassTubes Christmas Concert
After this evening’s wonderful concert by the award-wining Le Jardin Musical, the final concert for VIAF 2021 will be given by BrassTubes tomorrow at St George’s Basilica, 8pm.
BrassTubes Ensemble is a group composed of musicians who are specialists in brass instruments. This group hails from Victoria and its objectives are to provide a wide selection of musical styles ranging from the classical repertoire to the all-time popular jazz standards. In every concert they have performed, BrassTubes has received positive acclaim from audiences and critics alike, being particularly praised for their scintillating musicality, brilliant virtuosity and outstanding technical abilities. The ensemble’s members are amongst the island’ best brass players, having either graduated from prestigious Universities and Institutions such as the University of Malta and Manchester Royal Northern College of Music or else are diploma holders of the London College of Music and the Royal Academy of Music. One could rightly say that they are brass players with a difference!
